Notices & reminders

Notice of meeting, sent on the schedule your bylaws set

The formal notice goes out ahead of every scheduled session, with an optional courtesy reminder shortly before it starts, and every delivery is written to the record.

  • Notice lead time set once, in days, for the whole organization
  • Optional reminder a set number of hours before the meeting
  • Agenda included in the body of the notice as it stands when it sends
  • Committee and sub-board meetings noticed to that body's seats
  • Per-recipient delivery history for administrators

Notice is a bylaw requirement, not a courtesy

Most governing documents set a minimum notice period, and business transacted without proper notice can be challenged afterwards. Secretarius sends on the schedule you configure and records the notice date on the meeting, so the record shows the requirement was met.

Sent once, whatever happens

Each recipient receives each notice exactly once. A notice already sent by hand is not repeated, and a retry after a delivery problem never produces a second copy in someone's inbox.
