Who owes what, by when
Tasks assigned during a meeting are captured with an owner and a due date, and stay visible until they are closed.
- Title, detail, assignee from the roster, and a due date
- Recorded during the live meeting or while drafting the minutes
- Optionally tied to the agenda item or motion that produced it
- Open items from earlier meetings shown alongside the current list
- Marked done or cancelled by an administrator, with the time recorded
The part of the meeting that happens afterwards
Most of what a board decides creates work: a letter to write, a quote to obtain, a policy to draft. Recording that work against the meeting that assigned it means the next agenda starts from what is actually outstanding.
Assigned to a person, by name
Assignees are chosen from the roster and shown by full name, the same way movers and seconders are. Members see the items on their meetings; only administrators create, edit, or close them.
