Questions
Before you decide
- What counts as an organization?
- One governing body with its own roster, bylaws, calendar, and minute book — a board, a lodge, an association, or an order. Committees and sub-boards live inside an organization and do not count separately.
- How is the non-profit discount applied?
- Select non-profit status at signup and upload your determination or registration documents. Once an administrator approves it, the 40% discount is applied to your subscription automatically — including a credit if you were already paying full price.
- What happens to our records if we leave?
- Before you cancel, export the entire organization as structured JSON — roster, meetings, agendas, motions, votes, minutes, and governing documents. Deletion is permanent and initiated only by an administrator.
- Can we change plans later?
- Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any time from Admin; billing is prorated. Umbrella accounts can add or remove organizations as their structure changes.
- Do members need passwords?
- No. Sign-in is a one-time code sent by email, and only people invited by an administrator can sign in. Members without an email address are recorded by an Admin and appear normally in rosters, attendance, and votes.
