Roll call & attendance
Roll call, with quorum checked as you go
Record every member as present, absent, excused, or late, and watch the quorum indicator against your organization's own rule.
- Four statuses: present, absent, excused absence, late or left early
- Guests and visitors recorded by name without being members
- Quorum computed live from a percentage or a fixed count
- Only voting positions counted toward quorum
- Attendance carried into the minutes automatically
Excused absence is a real status
Many bodies distinguish an excused absence from a plain absence, because attendance rules and removal provisions depend on it. Secretarius records the distinction rather than flattening it, and the minutes show it as your bylaws expect.
Arriving late, leaving early
A member who arrives after the third item, or leaves before the vote, changes the count. Record the time they arrived or left and the record reflects who was actually in the room when each motion was taken.
